kleines Kerzenfilzgesteck / candle felt arrangement

Zu Ostern hatte ich so schöne Ranunkel, irgendwie hatte ich es geschafft ihre Blüten zu trocknen, Tipp einfach die Pflanze kurz vor dem Verblühen nicht mehr gießen. Dann lagen die Blüten einige Zeit auf einem Teller herum, bis ich auf die (bin jetzt nicht bescheiden) glorreiche Idee kam sie in ein kleines nadelgefilztes Kerzengesteck unterzubringen. Die gelben Blüten sind jetzt noch übrig geblieben, wird sich noch was finden.

Eastern I had have such nice ranunculus, I had to dry them. Shortly before they would have faded I stopped to water them, then the flower easily dried. Then they laid a time at a plate, until I got the idea to make with them a little needlefelted candle arrangement. The yellow flowers are still waiting for another project.

kommen zwei Vögel geflogen / comes two birds flown

Was schenkt man seinen Eltern, was Selbstgemachtes. Der gefilzte Vogel ist für den 81. Geburtstages meines Vaters gemacht worden. Es braucht ein wenig Geduld besonders weil ich den ersten Vogel beim Hinweg zur Geburtstagfeier verloren hatte. Dieser ist aber auch ein schöner Pipmatz geworden und mein Vater, ein Vogelliebhaber hat sich sehr gefreut, wenn auch ein paar Tage später.

 What is a nice present for the own parents, some selfmade handicraft. The felted bird

 has been made for the 81th birthday of my father. It needs a little bit patience to felt it

with needle especially because I lost the first at the way to the birthday party. But this one 

became also nice for the joy of my father some days later of course. 

Das war die Nummer 1, hat leider ja dann ein paar Meter vor dem Ort an dem wir gefeiert hatten Flügel bekommen, ich hoffe jemand der die Arbeit wirklich schätzt ihn aufgehoben und mitgenommen hat.

This has been number 1, but it flew away serveral meters before I reached the birthdayparty.

Fridolin durfte nur ganz kurz mit ihm Bekanntschaft machen.

Fridolin was only for a short while aloud to say hello.

Meine Mutter hat in der gleichen Woche zu ihrem 81. Geburtstag dieses Geschenk bekommen.
My mother got in the same week to her 81. birthday this present.
